I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I also worked on secure domain services for a gtld as the core engineer of the team for many years. I support the proposed price increase which allows for a 31% price increase through 2024. I would rather them be many thousands and contribute towards taxes and commerce, to see a return to the naming convention as it was intended. The floodgates are opened already.
