Some of us have .COM domains that we've had for many years, but which make us no money at all. I've had my .com since 2003 or 2004; I don't sell anything, I don't have any ads, and I have never made money from the domain. I've had it a long time, though, so I don't want to lose it because the price becomes too high to make keeping it reasonable.
