[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Set .com domain price increase limits to the rate of inflation

In regards to the wholesale price increases to domain registrars for .com domains, it's probably best to adjust them to no more than the rate of inflation. 7% annually on 3-year cycles with 2-year hiatuses will outstrip the rate of inflation by an ever-increasing margin. That runs the risk of killing private and smaller sites in the long run. On a side note, I'm curious if the actual expense of domain administration is remaining steady (adjusted for inflation), or if the economies of scale are gradually reducing per-domain administration expenses. -- - David MacCarter, Wireball - webmaster@wireball.com (Sent from Nine android email)
