[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] please think long-term economy
Just notified of potential price increases for .com domain, and want to urge you to consider the long-term effects of price-gouging a primary market, and how that may impact the operation and local laws of commerce. My guess is that the .com market is the most lucrative and therefore most likely to agree to price increases, as it would only increase the value of their online brand; however, it is sensible to consider how this will affect competition and increase barriers to entry of small and new businesses. Is there no potential for costly litigation resulting from backlash of intense price increases? At least, it would be careless and naive for any authority to not consider this. It's never just about money. -- *:)rickymay* beijing
