Arbitrary increasing the prices of .com domain names will hurt an extremely large part of the internet consumers, please don't let this happen, Verisign already makes many millions of dollars by leveraging the economy of scale with hundred of millions of .com domains, and that allows them to maintain and improve their infrastructure without any issue and still have large profits, if we allow them to increase the prices, that will make more hurt than good, just too fill the pockets of a few greedy actors and hamper the innovation of the internet.
