[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Stop the proposed changes to .COM registration

I am writing to call on ICANN to stop the proposed changes to the .COM registration. Given the lack of transparency, secretive dealings with Verisign, and the clear appearances of impropriety involved, it is clear that if ICANN wants to continue to be dealt with as an impartial organization it needs to stop the current process and start over with a broader coalition of participants and complete transparency during the discussions. If ICANN does not do this, and instead continues with its current plans, it will lose the respect of everyone who plays a role in today's internet, to its long-term detriment.
