We disagree with the objectives behind the increase amendment with VerSign as it does not mandate where Versign should allocate the increases to service improvements. This will also increase dark web usefulness for the 8 out of 10 years - guaranteed. We might also lobby to make ICANN, an obsolete organization in the 2020s and go direct to VeriSign or another NGO which better serves the public interests.
