The proposed changes to the contract are harmful to the world and should not proceed. As a former employee of Verisign, there is no good that comes from that entity. From my experience and personal beliefs, I do not consider Verisigns intentions to be truthful or honest. While I worked for Verisign, I witness many actions taken by senior management that I felt were highly unethical to say the least. This proposal should be rejected.
