This proposed change will increase the cost of registrations of domain names, including those of independent hobbyists like myself. I am not part of a corporation, I do not make money from my dot com websites. By allowing additional price increases for domain names, that will inevitably get pushed down to the buyers, you will be hindering the ability of individuals, especially those without means, to participate in the inherent democracy of the Internet. Large companies & the rich are able to absorb such price increases, but many individuals are operating on already-stretched budgets.
