ICANN is one the THE most important organizations in the world, probably in the history so far... The lack of transparency in this recent change is seriously worrisome. Increasing price (although not quite logical since infrastructure has only become cheaper) is understandable even acceptable, but it should be highly monitored, analyzed and regulated. I would like that verisign be allowed the price increase, but constrained by economic parameters such as inflation and economic growth, they shouldn't be allowed arbitrary increases.
