The COM TLD is one of the foundations of the Internet for small businesses that rely on com to promote, support and maintain their daily operations. The proposed price increases will most certainly shave quite a bit of the already razor thin profits of a lot of etailers. By doing so ICANN will mist probably drive small businesses off COM and hurt their own bottom line. It would be in your own best interest not to jack up prices.
