Many small companies, small organizations and individuals own .com domains, not just large corporations. Allowing pretty much unfettered price increases for .com domains is going to negatively impact these groups, especially individuals. Needing to increase the cost to support additional and/or updated infrastructure required to manage the.com TLD seems reasonable but giving a for profit third party company the ability to raise the price for 8 years of a 10 year period is ridiculous. Please reconsider the structure of this agreement and limit the aggregate cost increases to something concrete and fair like no more than a 100% price increase spread incrementally over the course of a 10 year period.
