As the owner of a number of .com domains I am against the substantial price increases over the next number of years. 7% annual price increases is well above the average 2% rate of inflation. The .com domain should be protected as an affordable option for website holders. These proposed changes could be looked at a bait and switch tactic from .com domain holders who have trusted the .com domain as an affordable option and invested in creating their brands as .com domains.
