ICANN’s principle responsibility is to ensure that the deliberations and decisions of ICANN are made for the benefit of the Internet community, as a whole. Policy changes, particularly those impacting pricing and access should be made in full sunshine and with solo station and consideration is majority public sentiment. To do otherwise destroys the overarching principles the internet was founded upon. Price increases diminish the equitable access and societal benefits the internet offers and should therefore be avoided at all costs. Note that this is not SPAM.
