Hi, I have three domains that end in .com and find the possibility of those domains' registration cost going up as much as 70% in the next decade extremely disquieting. What is the purpose of ICANN's deal with Verisign? Why would they sell out domain owners for $5M? This is a terrible idea and I hope that enough public comments and common sense gets through to ICANN's decision-makers, so that this this possible change can be scrapped before it is enacted and harms millions of .com domain owners.
