The Internet must remain a place where the small business and hobbyist can thrive. Raising domain prices, hinders this and furthers the takeover of large corporations owning our society. Please do not taint the name of ICANN by accepting ​sums of money from Verisign in order to hand over majority control of the .com domain and raise their prices exponentially. Many people, like myself, enjoy a .com domain to personalize their Email, run their own website, or link to their small business. It is clear to me that this is nothing but bad for the Internet as a whole. Please don't let us down.
