I am a Namecheap domain holder and the proposed name charge increases by ICCAN do not auger well for the customers like myself or the internet community as a whole. 1) If the price increases are effected yearly as proposed, then by the end of the decade the domain names will be unaffordable for the users. 2) In an open and democratic system, stackeholders are consulted when such drastic measures are suggested and in this case neither the domain name registrar's not their clients were consulted to hear our views. 3) This price increase is calculated to benefit only on player...ICCAN! 4) ICCAN is paving way to become a competitor to the domain name registrars who are their customers. This is so unethical! Please reconsider this proposal for the sake of the internet community and our end users. Thank you Lucy Thairu
