I am very opposed to the new ICANN Contract with Verisign. It will lead to huge price increases for .com registrations and its terms were not adequately discussed in public. Given the tremendous level of control that ICANN and Verisign will exercise over the Internet, fairness demands much more transparency and public input. Please cancel this new contract and initiate a process to elicit public and stakeholder input before creating any new agreement.
