I strongly oppose this proposal. There is no clear indication of how ICANN will spend the money given to it by Verisign and no justification on why we will see a possible 60% increase in the price of .com domain names. The internet is a space for everyone, not just those who can afford it. ICANN should not go through with this proposal if it wishes to remain a respected and trusted organisation.
