Adding a structure for price increases without setting a cap makes for a very scary future. What is the net affect of a world where people can’t get a domain name because it’s just too expensive to get and maintain? It puts more power into the hands of social media sites as the burden of maintaining a .com is removed. It sets the Internet on a path to where owning a .com is a luxury only for the wealthy. Please don’t pass these measures as proposed.
