In regards to Amendment 3 to the .com registry there is some confusion regarding pricing of these domains. This amendment makes it possible (in fact probable) that .com yearly registration prices will increase not due to market pressure (popular domain) but arbitrarily at the root without explanation of why this price increases are necessary. Please help in understanding why any price increase at this level is necessary and if it is more language that caps increases tied to the need (some cost) and restrictions on increasing pricing to the same domain holder would be welcome.
