Why the lack of consultation. ? Who is pocketing this $20 million US? As a very small business we have to watch our costs with a microscope. Our .COM domain costs are an important part of our budget. After years of being gauged by other "registrars" we found Namecheps and thought we had found a good business partner. Now we hear that Verisign has bough (bribed) the right to register domains in competition with its clients like Namecheap. This proposed amendment is immoral and probably illegal. Please do not add this to ICANN's "constitution" or whatever governing document this amendment is amending. Please do the right thing.
