Do not negotiate the contract to allow verisign to increase prices of .com domains. The registry should not be used as a income generator but a public service to maintain a free(low barrier) and open internet. If the price increasing is allowed this will be just like big pharma raising prices drastically on drugs for the sake of proffits and all else be dammed.
