The proposed price hike for the .com registry, which was negotiated in secret, runs counter to the philosophy of transparency of the Internet. Increasing costs to run a business online will undoubtedly have a negative impact of small business operators with a skewed impact outside of the U.S. This amendment should be completely voted down.
