This new proposed agreement with VeriSign is nothing but a monopolistic money grab. If the .com agreement was competitive the wholesale price would drop to $1 to $3, possibly even less. The idea that the price could increase is only possible in a monopoly, and ICANN is proposing to just hand millions of dollars to VeriSign in an incredibly corrupt agreement.
