I have been a domain name investor since 1998 and primarily .com  - Most of the 7 billion population is just coming online and increasing the .com prices will impact in their ability to register and own domain names - 30% increase is extremely high and outrageous for the services provided by the .com registry. Current prices are already higher than many other functioning cctlds .  - What is true cost of running a registry? What about competition to help lower cost and not continue to increase cost of domain investors whe are the primary customers supporting the .com registrations ThanksSuresh
