I write as an academic and user of multiple .info domains, most of which are used for purposes of public information. I believe the .info TLD should continue to be protected from cost increases. It is not widely used for commercial purposes and is a powerful tool for protecting accessibility to the original purpose of the Internet: sharing information. Please take steps to ensure that this important TLD commons does not fall victim to the commodification that has befallen so much of the Internet.
