This sounds like a terrible idea.  The cost to wholesale registries has not unexpectedly increased, thus the cost should be protected from unreasonable price increases.  This applies doubly for organizations with .org addresses – including mine.

I believe this will greatly stifle communications in the non-profit sector.  Please do not allow this change to go through.
