I am writing to express my strong objection to the removal of the price cap on .org domain fees. I know that ICANN has had an advisory committee reviewing the plan and that they have expressed very strong concerns about it as well. The fact that ICANN is ignoring the advisory committee’s concerns, as well as disregarding significant consumer protection issues with the plan is not only concerning but also alarming given your role.

I urge you to take into consideration the concerns and objections of the advisory committee and others and keep a price cap in place to protect consumers from potentially extreme rate hikes now or in the future.
