Internet domain name registration is a monopoly. Unregulated monopolies always over-price their goods and services. While users of domain names could change their domain name, that is like saying people could move to another country. Long-standing domain names are not easily changed, especially for non-profits with .org domain names. Without a limit to price changes, domain name registration would likely become a high cost with little alternative but to pay up or shut down.

 

So I respectfully ask you to leave .org domain name registration pricing as it is.
