To Whom It May Concern:

 

Like other businesses based on information technology, the price of domain names should be dropping, not increasing. If the current registrar cannot hold down prices, then another registrar—or a higher level of competition among registrars—should be placed in charge of the relevant domains. If ICANN goes ahead with its current plans, the public will eventually come to see it as crony capitalism and a corruption of the internet’s ideals.
