I am writing you to urge you to please not implement the proposed removal of price caps on domains, in particular .org domains.

I signed up many years ago for a .org domain because at the time there were not many alternatives to .com domains. I use my website for many purposes, but most personal and non-profit ones (e.g. to show my illustrations and essays). I don’t make any money off of it, and if the price goes up for my ISP it will go up for me, making it prohibitively expensive for me to maintain my website.

.org has traditionally been the home for a lot of non-business or non-profit websites. Please keep the .org domain affordable. Please do not remove price caps.
