To whom it may concern:
I am against the ICANN’s proposal to remove caps on .org domains. These domains serve a variety of organizations and individuals globally and I am not only concerned about the personal costs, but more specifically about the potential costs to individuals globally who may find it difficult to afford the domain fees – to me this is a matter of social justice. While I understand the potential for ICANN to generate more funds from large organizations, levying an unrestrained increase on individual, small businesses, non-profits and global organizations where the socio-economics make costs prohibitive, reduces the potential for a more equal opportunity global venture with a .org domain.
