ICANN should not proceed with the proposed contract changes to the .ORG provider. The .org TLD is used by non-profit and small groups world wide to communicate their message to the world.
Removing the pricing cap would in effect begin to silence these voices. Affordability is key for these groups to maintain their messaging platform. The argument that another alternative domain could be used changes the identity of these groups as the Internet
user base identifies this TLD with organizations motivated not by profit, but mission and message.
