Dear ICANN Committee,

As a domain owner I was horrified to see news that you are considering opening up pricing of .org gTLDs. As PIR hold a monopoly on wholesale pricing it would be anticompetitive and anti-consumer to allow pricing without regulation.      

One of the strengths that makes the internet such an important part of modern society is that it is relatively cheap for anyone to get set up with their own gTLD and have a website up pushing a business, organisation, activism idealism or whatever other content they please. This proposal directly threatens that, so I urge you to reconsider.
