I run a small marketing agency that helps nonprofits take advantage of the internet to further their cause. I have seen the kind of shoestring budgets they have to work with. Allowing .org domains to increase by more than 10% a year could be devastating to the already limited online budgets of smaller NGOs. As a society, we can’t afford to let nonprofits get priced out of the web. Keep the caps in place or we are going to see a marked decline in charitable activity online and you will be to blame.
