[Comments-org-renewal-18mar19] Opposed to removal of price caps

As the owner of a number .org domains serving non-profits and academic research initiatives, I am opposed to removing the 10% annual price cap for PIR in the proposed registry agreement. Removing the cap altogether will likely mean that PIR can arbitrarily set prices and make domains unaffordable for entities serving the public who do not have large operating budgets. If PIR decides it's in their best interest, then can effectively drive non-profits and other organizations off the internet with no recourse. Please reconsider that particular clause in the agreement. It seems like an unnecessary giveaway that serves corporate interests over the public good and ICANN can do better. Sincerely, Matt McGrievy
