The social contract that ISOC/PIR were given a very long time ago (in terms of the lifetime of the internet) relied on them not being able to abuse their monopoly power to change excessive prices. Guaranteeing that they do not have any competition and at the same time that they have a guaranteed monopoly. Please offer the contract to a public tender to get a modern valuation of the .org registrar and ensure that non-profits are not being price gouged. Thanks, Peter Ansell
