As if we didn't have enough control and power in the hands of ICANN, you guys need to quit this ridiculousness. Hiking prices will just force people out of traditional domain registration and move to blockchain domains. .org domains have for a long time been used and become industry standard for non profit use. Hiking the prices of these and other domains is ludicrous esp when you're affecting organizations that most exist for the betterment of society as a whole. It is disgusting that ICANN always wants to dictate under the guise of 'safety' STOP THIS!
