I am a marketing communications consultant who has counseled for-profit and not-for-profit clients alike for many years on their options and decisions regarding domain naming, registrar selection, and options regarding TLD. The registrants of millions of legacy TLDs count on their domain expenses remaining reasonable, affordable and stable. Therefore, I write to oppose the removal of price caps on any of the legacy TLDs. The most likely effect of removing such caps would be a limitless free-for-all within the legacy TLD market.
