Many excellent comments have already been posted that argue against removing the price cap on .org domains. Allowing a price hike would hurt millions of non-profit organizations as well as individual domain holders. This would be yet another example of large entities enriching themselves on the backs of individuals and small organizations just trying to make ends meet. The 10% limit on price increases was established for a good reason. To quote another commenter, "Allowing PIR, the registry operator, to act monopolistically with such a prominent TLD goes against what the Web should be."
