My principle concern about removing price caps on .org (and, as I understand it, .info and .biz) domains is the impact on small and non-profit businesses. The .org domain was specifically tasked for these types of organizations, especially non-commercial by definition. Such organizations are typically strapped for revenue, and yet those same organizations provide important social services. Forcing them to pay more is akin, in my mind, to defunding public broadcasting. The Internet was conceived, in part, as a way to allow those with shallow pockets to have an equal voice to those who can spend millions.
