[Comments-org-renewal-18mar19] Price Caps on .org, .info, and .biz names
Please do not remove price caps on .org, .info, and .biz domain names. The Public Interest Registry (PIR) is presumably a "not-for-profit" organization "created by the Internet Society in 2002 to manage the .org top-level domain." This was the charter under which they were created and it should remain that way. In the absence of control and audit, non-profit organizations can turn ugly far more rapidly than enforcement agencies can catch up. While there are numerous examples, please Google "united way william aramony". If the officers that currently run PIR are unsatisfied with the current business model, advise that they are welcome to move on and recruit a new team that a good fit for the charter as it was chartered.
