I strongly disapprove of Section a, paragraph 4: Pricing for Domain Name Registrations and Registry Services (Section 2.10 of the .org renewal agreement). This is an exclusive contract which creates a natural monopoly. As with any monopoly, PIR needs to be regulated -- in particular, the pricing structure needs to be controlled. PIR has no incentive to keep prices low since they have zero competition! Uncapping their wholesale prices would be a big mistake. ~John
