I am a .org registrant. The cost of TLD's should support the operation of the registries and technical infrastructure and that is all.   To date these costs have been covered by relatively low-cost registry services.  Unlimited price increases are ridiculous, and even a 10% per year increase is unreasonable and unsustainable.
