We would like to respond to the submission from the ICANN Business Constituency, dated January 4, 2019. The Canadian International Internet Dispute Resolution (CIIDRC), which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the British Columbia International Arbitration Centre (BCICAC), is fully prepared to work with ICANN if in the future ICANN deems it appropriate to establish contractual arrangements with Dispute Resolution Providers. We do not believe it is necessary to postpone consideration of our application until such time as ICANN may adopt a different perspective on this issue.
