Dear ICANN Community,

 

On 08 May 2020, the Board of Directors adopted ICANN's FY21-25 Operating and Financial Plan and FY21 Budget. Before the Plan or Budget can take effect on 01 July 2020, ICANN's Empowered Community now has an opportunity to consider whether it will reject either or both of these documents.

The FY21-25 Operating and Financial Plan demonstrate how ICANN org will implement the Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2021–2025 that was adopted by the ICANN Board in June 2019. The FY21 Operating Plan and Budget reflects the planned activities for 01 July 2020 through 30 June 2021. In addition, the plans adopted take into account the potential impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on ICANN org's current and planned work. The operating and budget documents include:

In addition, two webinars were held on 28 April 2020 to discuss the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on ICANN org’s current and planned work.  The webinars summarized key changes from the draft documents posted for public comment in December 2019.  If you were unable to participate in one of the webinars, the link to the recordings is below. Please note is it not necessary to watch both recordings as each webinar covered the same material to accommodate different time zones.
