After I responded to Jonathan's email, and I saw your and Marilyn's response, I figured that the Finance call doodle poll results would probably have been different should people have known about the name collision webinar when they responded, which they did not.
I will review the doodle result again and attempt to find an alternative approach to choosing the best time, hoping that changing the date is not going more/other conflicts… More to come shortly.

hi Xavier,

the trick is that we responded to the Doodle poll before the Name Collisions call was scheduled.  sorry — but Finance takes a back seat to an operational issue like that.  most of us probably are in the same situation.  it would be very helpful for one of these meetings to be rescheduled.

The day/time we picked for this call was the time where most people who responded to the doodle pool indicated they were available. Out of the 9 options we provided, 11 of the 14 people who responded to the doodle indicated that they could attend the time chosen.
I suppose that the people interested in attending the FY15 Budget update, who responded to the doodle poll, are not as much attending the name collision webinar.
I hope it helps clarifying the rationale for the day/timing chosen.
