Last week we posted the Draft Framework for Revisions to the Operating Plan and Budget on our Finance and Planning Community Wiki. We introduced this document during our ICANN84 Prep Week webinar. Following the adoption of the FY26 Operating Plan and Budget, ICANN prepared a document to formalize the procedure for revisions within the annual planning process. This document, titled “Draft Framework for Revisions to the Operating Plan and Budget,” was developed to ensure that if revisions are made to the Operating Plan or Budget following the end of the Public Comment period, the revisions are tracked and communicated in a clear manner. ICANN is committed to ensuring that the community and public are fully aware of revisions, if any.

The draft of this document is being presented to the community at ICANN84 for feedback. We encourage your review and participation in our engagement of this topic. We will have our next community webinar on 17 December 2025. The webinar will provide the opportunity for the community to speak on this drafted process as well as to get information about our Public Comment proceeding. An announcement will be published when registration for the webinar is available.
