- ICANN Draft Five-Year Operating Plan
We will provide an overview of the Five-Year Operating Plan Version 1 (FY2016-FY2020), which is an the addition of our planning process. A public comment period on the draft plan began today, Monday, 11 November 2014 and will last for a total of 55 days. The announcement can be found here: https://www.icann.org/news/announcement-2014-11-11-en
- FY16 Operating plan and Budget - Calendar
We would like to present the Draft FY16 Operating Plan and Budget calendar for review and comment. The calendar was developed through extensive interaction with the Board Finance Committee, also including some informal community input. The most notable elements of the FY16 planning include, in addition to the 5-year Operating Plan above:
(i) a suggested face-to-face meeting around the Singapore ICANN 52 meeting to review main assumptions underlying the FY16 budget,
(ii) an earlier public comment process than in previous years,
(iii) an opportunity to review the suggested answers to the public comments and to communicate with Staff/BFC PRIOR to approval.
The calendar attached attempts to include all critical milestones of the process. It remains very tight with little flexibility of dates once it will be finalized. Your input while attending the suggested Adobe call, or separately by email at controller@icann.org is very much appreciated.
Shortly we will send out a doodle pole to choose a good time to conduct this session.
Regards,
Carole Cornell
